Shelters |
|
Cangleska, Inc. operates two shelters for women and their children, Lulyahan Oti in the heart of the Pine Ridge Reservation and Ohitika Najin Win Oti in Rapid City, the closest urban area.
Cangleska's first shelter was established in Kyle on the Pine Ridge Reservation more than a decade ago. |
|
Ohitika was opened seven years ago in Rapid City to serve the needs of urban Native women and children.
The Rapid City shelter is running out of space and Cangleska, Inc. has launched a fund-raising campaign to build a larger Rapid City area shelter.
