The
Tokahe Wicayapi Visitation Center, which is on the 9.22-acre Cangleska, Inc. complex, in Kyle in the heart of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in southwestern South Dakota.
Tokahe Wicayapi are the Lakota words for "Putting The Children First".
The new center provides victims of domestic violence and children a place allowing court ordered visitation in a manner that protects the safety of all family members on the Oglala Lakota reservation and the surrounding area where domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and/or stalking is present and the family is in need of a safe place for the exchange of children or supervised visitation.
